Canadian Program Leaders at Sea (CLaS)
Updated: Mar 29
At the invitation of the Canadian Department of National Defence, Prima Mabonzo had the privilege of spending two full days with the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN). From March 6-8, 203 Prima participated in the Canadian Leaders at Sea (CLaS) program aboard Her Majesty's Canadian Ship (HMCS) Summerside based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
This experience on the high seas off Nova Scotia with six other women, including two from Quebec, helped showcase and promote the achievements and exemplary capabilities of the Royal Canadian Navy. This moment of total immersion made it possible to understand the commitment as well as the responsibilities that accompany the life of a person in the navy.
A special thank you to all the women and men of the Canadian Armed Forces, we are honored to be able to count on them to protect our nation.
