For this collection, the products of Kisina Déco make you travel to Senegal. This collection is dedicated to the Senegalese Teranga. The word Teranga means Hospitality. For the Senegalese, it's not just a word, it's a way of life and a philosophy that has been passed down from generation to generation. All items in the Teranga collection have been designed with Woven Pagne (Pagne Ndiago or Pagne Mandjack). A traditional fabric made by weavers in Senegal and other African countries using ancestral techniques passed down through generations. This loincloth accompanies families from birth to death, passing through marriage and is sometimes transmitted from one generation to another. Each item in this collection has a word in Wolof, the most spoken language in Senegal. Through this collection, I share with you my love for Senegal, which is my first adopted country.
Good discovery of the country of Teranga!
